Bookshop Description:

We opened in 2017 as a gift shop with books stocking around 400 titles mostly non fiction. In October 2020 we moved next door to larger premises with a full book shop offer in a large space within the main shop. We have a beautiful outdoor terrace where browsers are welcome to sit and read and in chillier weather we have a wood burner inside the bookshop to keep customers snug. As relative newbies to bookselling we are learning what our customers love to read and have a full schedule of author events planned including a 'Cook with' event, alongside writers and crafting workshops and talks about how to start collecting antique books and the joy of cook books.
