Bookshop Description:

Established in 1991 principally as a rare and second-hand bookshop with a large and varied stock covering all ages and subjects. However, we have always had a strong commitment to the encouragement of local creative writing and historical research, and in these two areas we sell new books as well as old. We host free events for local authors, poetry recitals and historical talks and have started offering free creative writing classes with our poet in residence.
