Bookshop Description:

Books can be great escapism, but Backstory is the opposite. It is all about non-fiction and fiction that helps us understand our world and the people around us. We believe books can bring us together and help us understand one another. Our bookshop has a bar to keep those conversations going, and will host events with authors, journalists and people shaping today's world at least once a week.
