Bookshop Description:

1b Books opened in December 2023 in Heaton, Newcastle upon Tyne. We sell a range of fiction and non-fiction titles, with a focus on queer books and translated fiction. We will be hosting a range of regular and one-off book events and groups. In February we will start a weekly Baby and Toddler Book Group and a monthly Inter-generational book group. 1b Books is part of The Crack Limited, a monthly arts magazine for the North East which is based in the office above the shop.
